Insocoat Bearings
Insocoat Bearings are special bearings designed to prevent electric current from passing through them.
Typically, Insocoat bearings have an insulating aluminum oxide coating on the outer surface of the outer ring or the inner surface of the inner ring. This coating is applied through a sophisticated plasma - spray process. For example, the suffix VL0241 indicates that the outer ring of the bearing has a standard aluminum oxide coating, while VL0246 represents a premium coating with higher resistance characteristics. The suffix VL2071 is for the inner ring with a standard coating, and VL2076 is for the inner ring with a premium coating
