what's the INSOCOAT bearings ?

INSOCOAT bearings (often branded as SKF INSOCOAT) are electrically insulated rolling bearings designed to stop stray electric currents from passing through the bearing and causing electrical erosion (pitting, fluting, lubricant breakdown, and premature failure).

A standard bearing (deep groove ball, cylindrical roller, etc.) with an aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) insulating coating applied via plasma spray to the outer surface of the outer ring (most common, suffix VL0241) or the inner surface of the inner ring （suffix VL2071）
